Yes, Please refer to opening times for days you can do lessons.

When driving with a driving instructor your first 10 hours will be equivalent to 30 hours.

Example: 1 hour = 3 approved driving hours.

Yes, dual pedals are used for safety and to make you feel comfortable and confident while learning to drive.

For safety reasons, we recommend that the first lesson be conducted in Proactive’s vehicle, unless the student is considered test ready. Please advise us when booking.

There are a number of steps involved, as listed below:

  1. Complete the Hazard Perception Test.
  2. Complete the mandatory driving hours in your log book.
  3. Receive a “thumbs up” from your Driving Instructor.
  4. If booking a Lesson/Test Package, please check Proactive’s availability.
  5. Book a Practical Driving Test on the Queensland Transport and Main roads website.
  6. Submit your logbook at least 2 weeks prior to the test to ensure it is approved before test day.

The whole process can take 2.5 hours if you are successful.

HOW IT WORKS

  • You will be picked up from your desired location, or I can meet you at the test centre to provide more practice time, starting 1 hour and 20 minutes before the test.
  • Begin with a 1-hour lesson.
  • Arrive at the TMR 20 minutes before the test booking time to check in.
  • Relax and calm your nerves.
  • Start the test, which will take 25-35 minutes if everything goes well.
  • If successful, paying for your license will take approximately 15 minutes.
  • Drive home.

Yes, just make sure to include the pick-up location in the notes when you book.

I aim to make booking and scheduling lessons as easy as possible.

The Kia Sportage has ample boot space for skateboards and bikes. Additionally, there are roof racks available if you need them following surfing lessons or similar.
